Committees

These committees are filled by volunteers at the annual Committee Sign-Up Fair for terms beginning in August.

    * Adult Education: Plans and evaluates the adult activities and education.

    * Children: Plans and evaluates the children's church school program, and plans on-going activities for fellowship, education, and mission.

    * Communication/Technology: Addresses technology and communication issues that include computers, software, networks, phones and website; seeks creative ways to keep the congregation informed of upcoming events, pastoral care concerns, and happenings in the lives of church members.

    * Fellowship/Recreation: Oversees and coordinates church-wide fellowship and recreational activities; oversees the softball program.

    * Flowers: Plans and provides floral arrangements for worship and special services.

    * Hospitality/Kitchen: Coordinates monthly church-wide meals; oversees Wednesday night meals; is available to consult on other church-wide meals and receptions.

    * Landscaping: Oversees all the landscaping on the property.

    * Marketing: Develops and implements a public relations and advertising plan for the church.

    * Membership Development: Contacts visitors and cultivates prospects; recruits new member sponsors and coordinates activities to orient and integrate new members into the life of the church.

    * Memorial Gifts: Monitors funds given as memorials and ensures that donors' wishes are followed.

    * Missions: Studies, explores, coordinates, and publicizes mission/ministry activities of the church.

    * Paraments: Changes the paraments to match the season of the church year and displays the appropriate paraments for weddings, funerals, memorial services, and ordinations.

    * Preschool: Serves as a liaison or bridge between the Preschool and the church, discussing issues and concerns of both.

    * Ushers: Provides a spirit of hospitality at all worship services.

    * Wedding: Consults and supervises wedding activities of members and non-members.
